The most anticipated October 2020 video games

Video game lovers don’t have to wait until October 31 for candy. In fact, the whole month seems to be quite full of some titles that will occupy the agenda of the tenth month of the year for many. At ENTER.CO we give you the list so you don’t forget to buy them or ask for a medical excuse.

Super Mario Bros. 35

Available on: Nintendo Switch October 1

Free games? The main reason to pay attention to the ‘Super Mario’ anniversary celebration title is because you don’t have to pay for it. Available to everyone with a Nintendo Online account, ‘Super Mario Bros. 35’ is a Battle Royale experience that will pit you against 35 other people to see who is the best plumber at the end of the day. We also suggest playing from day 1, as it will only be available for 6 months.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time

Available on: Xbox One and PS4 October 1

‘Crash Bandicoot’ is back! ‘Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time’ is the first real sequel we have received from the franchise in a long time and it remains in the platformer genre. Most importantly, it brings a lot of new elements to the franchise. For the first time, you’ll be able to play with more than two characters, with levels for Coco, Neo Cortex, Dingodile, and Tawna. In addition to this you will have competitive modes, new skins that bring different power ups and the promise of the charm of the classic ‘Crash’.

‘Star Wars: Squadrons’

Available on: PS4, Xbox One, and PC October 2

Fans of ‘Star Wars’ will not have a movie in 2020, but perhaps a game that rewards the less stellar premieres of recent years. ‘Star Wars: Squadrons’ will allow you to pilot the most iconic ships of the franchise. Whether you want to pilot a TIE Fighter for the empire, or join the rebels with an X-Wing, the promise is in exciting and immersive aerial combat. It also has a multiplayer mode, in case you want to prove who in your group is the best pilot, in a galaxy far, far away.

‘Amnesia: Rebirth’

Available on: PS4 and PC October 20

We can’t talk about the October 2020 video games, without at least one horror game. The new entry in the Amnesia saga puts you in the role of Tasi Trianon. We do not know how or why, but you wake up in the desert in Algeria. Days have passed. Where have you been? What have you done Where are the others? Follow the footsteps of the journey, collect the fragments of your shattered past; it’s your only chance to survive the ruthless horror that threatens to devour you.

‘World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’

Available on: PC October 27

Have you not played WoW in a long time? October seems like the best time to return with the release of ‘World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’, the next major expansion to the MMO RPG. Some of the things that ‘Shadowlands’ will bring are five new areas to explore, the aggregation of the Curias (or Convenants) that will allow you to choose unique missions and the arrival of Torghast: an infinite and changing dungeon with a new adventure.

Watch Dogs: Legion

Available on: PS4, Xbox One, and PC October 29

Defeating ‘Big Brother’ is not an easy task. Fortunately, you have (literally) all of London as your ally. In a dystopian version (or at least not so close to 2020) you are part of the Dedsec agents. Your mission? Recruit new allies to help you sabotage and advance your cause to weaken the Albion military dictatorship. Not for nothing is the closure to video games in October 2020.
