ORIGINAL NEWS (01/13/2020)
Grand Theft Auto 4 is no longer available on Steam and cannot be purchased .
As they report in resetera , the Steam GTA 4 store page is still available, but the buy button has disappeared.
The full edition of the game has also disappeared, but the Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City expansion is still available for purchase. The 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are also available in the respective digital stores.
At the moment Rockstar has not given explanations.
One of the possible reasons is GTA MONEY the expiration of the musical license, something that has already happened on previous occasions. Last 2018, in fact, the license of some of the songs that appear in the game ended, and Rockstar had to withdraw them. The same happened previously with San Andreas and with Vice City.
Anyway, we will have to wait for an official statement.
